1. Scope of application and liability

This data protection declaration applies to the processing of personal data by WildAct and WeAct AG, namely via the websites under the domains "".

In the course of the further development of our websites, in particular to improve our service, it may be necessary to amend this data protection declaration. In this case we will inform you in advance and, if necessary, request your separate consent.


2. Data collected

2.1. General data collection

The Wild Act Challenge website collect a series of general data each time they are visited. This general data and information is stored in the log files of the server. The following data is recorded:

    • IP address
    • Date and time of the visit
    • Time zone difference to GMT time zone
    • Contents of the request
    • Access status/http status code
    • Amount of data transferred, if this is the case
    • Website from which the access request originated
    • Browser (incl. language and version)
    • Operating system

When this general data is used, it is not assigned to a specific person. The collection of this data is customary and technically necessary in order to show you our web pages and to guarantee their stability and security.

The personal data that we process about you also includes all information about personal or material circumstances that we receive from you in the course of providing our services and that can be attributed to you directly or indirectly. These are for example your full name, gender, your postal address, your telephone number(s), your e-mail address.

2.2. Contact form

Our web pages contain a contact form that can be used to contact us. The data entered in the contact form is transmitted in encrypted form (SSL encryption). The data entered in the contact form will be stored for the purpose of processing or contacting the person making contact. This data will not be passed on to third parties.

2.3. Wild Act Challenge and other activities

If you would like to participate in the Vietnam-wide "Wild Act Challenge" or other events organised by us (e.g. "Customized Challenges"), it is necessary that you provide certain personal data that we require to process your participation. Mandatory information required for participation is marked separately; further information is optional. We process the data provided by you to register your participation. We will not pass on your participant data to third parties without your express consent. This does not apply to the transmission of data to contractors (e.g. for payment processing or processing of the dispatch of prizes by the prize provider to the corresponding winning participants), who are not permitted to process this data for their own purposes and are obliged to treat them confidentially and securely.

If you participate in the Wild Act Challenge or, as a rule, in other events organised by us, a participant account will be created for you. Under "My account", the data you have provided will be stored in a revocable manner.

After the end of the event organized by us, the data stored by you in your participant account, apart from the mere storage, will not be processed or otherwise used by us. We store this data, in particular and among others, for participants to reuse their accounts in future challenges and use the data stored in it for a new participation. However, upon your request (e.g. by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address given in section 1 of this declaration), we will delete or anonymise your participant account and the data stored therein at any time, so that no further information can be drawn about you.


3. Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies, which are small text files that are stored on your computer and can be retrieved there. Cookies are used to enable you to log in to our services and to personalise the website for you. For this purpose, our website is supported by cookies which collect information about your IP address, the time and duration of your visit, the number of visits, form usage, your search settings, your display view, your settings to favorites on our website. The storage time of the cookies varies. We log every access to our website and every retrieval of a file stored on the website.

You can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by means of an appropriate setting of the Internet browser and thus permanently disable the setting of cookies. Furthermore, cookies that have already been set can be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software programs. This is possible in all common internet browsers. If you deactivate the setting of cookies in the Internet browser used, not all functions of our website may be fully available for you.


4. Web Tracking

Our websites use web tracking services, which - usually through the use of cookies - enable an analysis of the use of the websites. It is possible that the information collected (including your IP address) may be transferred to servers of providers of web tracking services abroad, possibly also in countries with inadequate data protection.

Our websites use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. "("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on user activity and providing other services relating to website and internet usage. Google may transfer this information to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Google declares under no circumstances to associate your IP address with other Google data.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of the website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookies and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link:

5. Social Media Plug-ins

We currently use the social media plug-ins contained in the following table. In principle, we use the so-called two-click solution, whereby no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the plug-ins when you visit our website. Only if you click on the marked plug-in field and thereby activate it, the plug-in provider receives the information that you have requested on our website. In addition, the data mentioned under point 2 of this declaration will be transmitted. The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as user profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. An exception is the Facebook plugin: It allows visitors to our websites to see which of their Facebook friends has already liked the WeAct Facebook page.

We have no influence on the collected data and data processing procedures of the plug-in providers. These are subject to the respective data protection declarations of the plug-in providers. For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider, please refer to the data protection declarations of these providers as notified below.

6. Data usage

We use your personal data exclusively in compliance with legal requirements. If you do not provide us with this information, we will not be able to let you participate in one of our events. Furthermore, we use your data as far as there is a legal obligation.


7. Data transmission to third parties

We use certain contract processors in order to carry out our services, for communication with you and for the administration of our online presence. We assure that we carefully select these contractors to ensure lawful and secure data processing. Any further use of the data by these contractors is excluded.
Finally, we may forward your personal data in anonymous form to our scientific partners (e.g. ZHAW) for research purposes. In anonymous form means that our scientific partners cannot draw any conclusions about specific persons based on the data we transmit.


8. Your rights

You have the following rights towards us with regard to personal data concerning you:
    • Right to information,
    • Right to correction or deletion,
    • Right to limitation of processing,
    • Right of opposition to the processing,
    • Right to data transferability,
    • Right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.

If data processing on our website is based on your consent, you can revoke this for the future at any time and without justification. The revocation is to be addressed to the person responsible via the contact details in item 1.


9. Data security

To protect your data, we use encryption during data transmission and have implemented numerous technical and organisational measures to ensure the most complete possible protection of personal data processed via our websites.

In addition, the server on which the platform is operated is located in Switzerland. All data transmitted by you to the platform in the course of the "Wild Act Challenge" or any other event organised by us will therefore be stored in Switzerland.
